Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs See Nearly $1.9 Billion in Weekly Capital Inflows

  • From January 20 to 24, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs attracted a total of $1.89 billion. 
  • Most of this comes from category one products, and the IBIT fund stands out among them. 
  • During the trading week, $1.3 billion entered it. 

Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs showed positive dynamics between January 20 and January 24, 2025, according to SoSoValue. In total, capital inflows into these products in the U.S. market amounted to $1.89 billion. 

$1.76 billion has been received in spot Bitcoin ETFs, slightly less than the previous value . Positive dynamics in the segment have been continuing for four weeks in a row:

Recall that on Friday, January 24, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw a total capital inflow of $527 million. The bulk of this, $517.7 million, came from the first category of products. 

Notably, of the $1.76 billion, approximately $1.3 billion came from BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT). Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), previously the largest fund in the segment, has seen 14 straight weeks of capital outflows. 

In addition to it, another fund closed the week with a minus - Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) with a figure of $18.54 million. 

Spot Ethereum ETFs, in turn, received $139.32 million. The positive dynamics here have continued for two weeks in a row.

For specific products the situation is as follows:

  • ETHE - $44.17 million outflow. Since the start of trading in these funds, the product has not had a single week with a “plus”;
  • ETHA — inflow of $135.42 million;
  • ETH Mini Trust - $15.5M Inflow;
  • FETH — inflow of $19.63 million;
  • ETHW - $6.07 million inflow;
  • ETHV - $3.65 million inflow;
  • QETH - $1.99 million inflow;
  • CETH - $1.17M inflow 

There is no movement of funds recorded for EZET from Franklin Templeton.
